The 13th Five-Year Plan for Electric Power Development (2016-2020) puts forward 18 tasks, such as upgrading the distribution network and promoting the construction of smart grid, and defines the objectives and tasks of promoting the construction of smart grid in "Internet Plus" during the 13th Five-Year Plan period and comprehensively improving the intelligence level of China's power system. On-line monitoring of oil-filled electrical equipment is an important part of smart grid construction.
During internal discharge (partial discharge, spark and arc) of oil-filled electrical equipment (oil-deficient equipment such as oil-immersed transformer and oil-filled bushing, etc.), hydrogen is the main characteristic gas. Therefore, hydrogen detection is also an early fault monitoring method of oil-filled equipment recognized by IEEE(IEEEC57.104-1991), which is widely used to monitor early faults of oil-filled electrical equipment.
Baowu Group is a large state-owned enterprise with the largest production capacity. As a big energy consumer, Baowu Group has a large number of oil-immersed transformers. The transformer used in iron and steel smelting has the characteristics of large capacity, complex structure and high technical requirements. In iron and steel smelting, high power is needed during smelting, and the transformer is required to have 20% overload capacity within 2 hours. Therefore, the working state of oil-immersed transformer is the key to keep the iron and steel smelting equipment such as electric arc furnace working continuously.
Therefore, iron and steel enterprises require the routine inspection and maintenance of oil-immersed transformers once every six months, and take transformer oil samples for off-line analysis. Although the operation risk can be reduced by shortening the inspection cycle, there is a monitoring gap for the transformer operation during the inspection period. Once the transformer fails and loses power during steel production, it will cause great economic losses.
MODEL3200 on-line monitoring device for dissolved hydrogen in oil can realize continuous on-line monitoring of fault gas (hydrogen) and micro-water in oil. This product adopts the thin-film hydrogen sensor chip with independent intellectual property rights of H2SENSE, and the hydrogen measurement is not affected by other combustible gases such as CO and CxHy, which completely eliminates the problems of inaccurate hydrogen measurement and false alarm of electrochemical monohydrogen products such as fuel cells. The unique technical advantage of MODEL3000 series hydrogen and micro-water online monitoring products is that the sensor chip is directly inserted into transformer oil to measure dissolved hydrogen, without oil-gas separation film, consumables and regular maintenance cost.
After the completion of the project, the operation data of nearly 40 oil-immersed transformers in a steel plant of Baowu Group will be directly transmitted to the central control room through RS-485, and the inspection personnel can master the dissolved hydrogen in transformer oil, oil temperature (micro-water) and other operating parameters while sitting in the office. It realizes the intelligent networking operation of transformer and improves the reliability of transformer operation.
