MODEL 3200 Online Monitor for Dissolved Hydrogen (Moisture) in Oil
Product Overview
Analyzing the components of Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) and moisture monitoring are widely used for early fault warning of oil-filled electrical equipment. Hence, installing an online monitor for hydrogen (moisture) in oil on the oil sampling valve of transformer and other oil-filled equipment allows for real-time monitoring the hydrogen concentration in oil. When the concentration of dissolved hydrogen in oil and its change rate exceed certain limits, an alerting signal will be triggered. Timely adoption of effective measures can help reduce or avoid the occurrence of failures in oil-filled equipment.
The MODEL3200 online monitor for dissolved hydrogen (moisture) in transformer oil utilizes a solid-state Pd alloy thin-film hydrogen sensor. The advantage of this sensor lies in its ability to directly measure dissolved hydrogen and moisture in oil without the need of oil-gas separation. Furthermore, the Pd alloy sensor has high specificity for hydrogen measurement, which is unaffected by combustible gases such as CO, and requires no periodic maintenance.
MODEL3200 online monitor can be used in oil-filled electrical equipment to monitor the dissolved hydrogen and moisture content. It uploads precise measurement value, trend data and other data related to the healthy status of transformers in real time. The online monitor has excellent cost-performance, significantly reducing operation costs and it is suitable for monitoring distribution transformers in the power grid.
Protect your oil-filled equipment
Minimize operation failures of transformer and other oil-filled electrical equipment.
Real-time online monitoring, fill the gaps of periodic inspection and monitoring.
The most cost effective DGA monitoring solution.

No Degassing, No Maintenance
The MODEL 3200 utilizes solid-state Pd alloy thin-film technology, allowing the sensor to be directly immersed in transformer oil for measurement without the need for oil-gas separation. It is unaffected by vacuum or positive pressure conditions and eliminates the need of maintenance.
Hydrogen Specificity
The solid-state Pd alloy hydrogen detection technology offers absolute specificity for hydrogen, unaffected by interfering gases such as CO and C₂H₂, ensuring reliable and accurate hydrogen measurement.
Easy to Install and Use
The sensor is installed at the ball valve of the transformer and features analog output, RS-485 digital output, and relay switch alarm signals. The front panel is equipped with an LED display that can show real-time readings such as hydrogen concentration, moisture and oil temperature.
